A Scheduled Caste member named Arun, a plus one scheduled caste student of Government Higher Secondary School, Edavilangu- Kodungalloor, of Trissur district been victimized by a group of upper castes school mates .The concerned Police deny to register the substance thereof to provide the legal protection under the Act 33of 1989 , however the victim is dejure the same According the press report on 2009 Sunday August 23rd discloses that the case registered in a manner is contrary to the provisions and protections avail under the Act 33 of 89 and its relevant rules 1995 to the victim. Whatever it may be the victim been deserted from the said school due to the commission of atrocity hurted against him and been hospitalized. In due course of the ineffective action taken by the District Administration under Rules 1995 of SC-ST (POA) Act, this Pattikajathi Kshema Samithi aggrieved thereby .Therefore this Samithi informing the matter of discharge the duty satisfactorily according the above said relevant Rules in favor of the Scheduled Caste victim of atrocity, where this Samithi is legally entitle to do so U/s .15(1) of SC-ST(POA) Rules 1995, hence expedite a reply of action taken by you.
